Euphoria Golf Estate

Euphoria Golf Estate & Hydro set in the beautiful Waterberg mountain range in Limpopo, is only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg. The 18 hole championship golf course is the first golf course in Africa to be designed by Annika Sorenstam and combines links-style fairways with a bushveld setting. It has already become a favourite for visitors on South Africa Golf Holidays.

The tranquil setting belies the challenging nature of the Euphoria 18-hole Championship Golf Course. Sorenstam, who also consulted on the famous Mission Hills Golf Club in China, dominated rankings on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) for over five years. She has now turned her vast experience and golfing knowledge to course design.

The course is located on a developing golf estate with private houses. However these are few and far between, and are kept well away from the course so as not be intrusive to golfers. The fairways and greens are kept in immaculate condition with plenty of water hazards to keep you on your toes.

The clubhouse facilities include a terrace and an elegant restaurant, serving a mixture of local cuisine and traditional dishes. After golf, enjoy a drink or a meal at the Sundowner Deck Restaurant reached by a cable car with magnificent views across the fairways.

There is accommodation on offer at the estate is in the form of golf ‘villas’ located close to the clubhouse.  The  4* villas comprise of blocks with eight rooms, made up of two levels of four villas per level. Each of the villa rooms has a bathroom en suite and a balcony. The villas are self catering but meals are available in the clubhouse. For anyone on a self drive golf holiday in  South Africa this is an affordable stop over for a couple of nights with 2 excellent courses in the location.

A Golf Academy offers a comprehensive range of golf lessons and clinics to suit all ages and golfing standards.  Full time teaching professionals are on hand to offer expert advice and tuition to groups or individuals.

Close to the clubhouse is a practice putting green with 18 numbered putting holes. A short ride away is a large practice range with a chipping green, a bunker play green, a short range practice tee and a separate long range practice tee.
